Myron Berry retired chemistry professor was present to

Anderson ('67
Chem Eng), the chairman and chief executive officer of Dow Corning
Corporation, was the speaker at Michigan
Technological University's at Spring Commencement on Saturday,
May 10. |

Carlos ('71 Chem Eng) and Dalia Jordá visited Michigan
Tech during Winter Carnival. Shown at left top, Carlos met with students,
discussing his experiences in the oil industry. As president of PDV
America, Inc. Carlos is Chairman of the Board of Citgo Petroleum Corporation
and a member of the board of directors of Petroleos de Venezuela,
S. A. (PDVSA).
Dr. Mike Mullins, Chair of Chemical Engineering along with
Dale Kero of COE, gave Carlos and Dalia Jordá a tour
of the department labs, as shown in photo at left.
Carlos received MTU's Board of Control Silver Medal in trhe 2003 Commencement.

Wehman, friend of Michigan Tech, Director-Capital & Conceptual
Planning Corporate Engineering, BASF, Mount Olive, New Jersey, was
honored for his contributions to undergraduate education at Michigan
Tech. A BASF classroom was dedicated in his name in June 2002
